Lindsey Moxon
Owner/Accredited Exercise Physiologist
Lindsey is the owner of Movement is Freedom and is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist. She treats chronic injuries and disease through exercise. She is passionate and motivated to help individuals make healthy lifestyle changes, and really enjoys giving her patients help and support in rehabilitating their injuries or giving advice in preventing injuries. She prides herself on providing a professional and personal Exercise Physiology service and loves to make her Pilates sessions fun.
Lindsey established “Movement is Freedom”, after working at a National Award Winning Exercise Physiology private practice. Prior to that, she gained valuable experience at Epworth Rehabilitation Hospital, working on a workplace health program at St Vincent’s Hospital and running exercise programs for mentally disabled older adults at Whitehorse City Council.
Lindsey believes in evidence based practice, providing safe and effective exercise programs. She considers all forms of Pilates (Reformer, matwork and small apparatus) essential to improving posture, mobility and core stability. She integrates this equipment and the eight principles of Pilates into her Clinical Pilates sessions. She also thinks correct technique is crucial.
Lindsey maintains her Exercise Physiology accreditation by participating in continuing education courses and enjoys staying up to date with the latest research. This ensures Movement is Freedom clients are being treated in the most professional and effective way.

- Graduate Diploma in Applied Exercise Science (Exercise Rehabilitation), ACU National
- Bachelor of Exercise Science, ACU National
- Pilates Instructor, Pilates Institute of Queensland
- Accredited with ESSA (Exercise and Sports Science Australia)
- Level 2 First Aid
- Certified Level 2 Wellness Coach, Wellness Coaching Australia
